Nebraska Corn Board Directors and Staff are constantly
on the move in their efforts to develop markets for Nebraska
corn. Whether hosting a delegation of European journalists
in Nebraska, calling on California customers for Nebraska
corn, meeting with decision-makers on Capitol Hill, visiting with government officials in Mexico or
participating in trade missions to Southeast Asia, the
Nebraska Corn Board is constantly working to fulfill
its mission: "To expand the demand and value
of Nebraska corn and value added corn products."
Check out our new additions - YouTube videos produced by our very own Cob Squad.
To date, they have produced seven videos.
"Yellowtail Donates to HSUS" Yellow Tail wine has donated $100,000 to the Humane Society of the
United States (HSUS). We don't feel as though this was a tasteful move
on Yellow Tail's part. This is the time to speak up, join us in your support for
animal agriculture and watch this video.
"Ethanol Blender Pump" which explains the innovative blend pumps that allow consumers to custom blend the level of ethanol they wish to purchase for their automobile. Click here to see if your vehicle is a flex-fuel vehicle or check your owners manual.
The second video "Farm Value of Food " exposes the real truth about corn and food prices. For more detailed information about the farm value of food, vist our "Kernels of Truth" page.
The "Sustaining Innovation" video expands on the changes technology has made in our everyday lives, focusing on the innovative improvements in agriculture.
The next series of three videos produced "C.O.R.N. News", parts 1, 2 and 3, featuring Austin Bushel, Paige Tassel, Mat Cornstalk and Matty Maize. This is the Cob Squad's humorus take on television news broadcasts and infomercials.
Click here to link to link to three videos filmed during a press conference proclaiming September as "Renewable Fuels Awareness" month, at the 2009 Husker Harvest Days in Grand Island. Videos include comments from the Nebraska Corn and Soybean Boards and Governor Dave Heineman.
Would you like to show support for your ag customers and help your non-ag customers discover how important corn producers are to the state of Nebraska? You can, by scheduling the pop up banners for display at your bank for two weeks. The three banners outline certain significant points about Nebraska’s corn industry including such exciting developments as ethanol, bioplastics and uses of corn.
We will send the banners to your bank via UPS and provide a pre-paid label to ship the banners back to our office or in the event it is scheduled immediately after your display weeks to the next location on the schedule. We will also provide you with brochures and some promotional items to increase interest in the display.
To schedule the display or ask any questions, email the Corn Board office-email link below. If possible, please provide 2 or 3 options, so we can facilitate scheduling.
